September 15, 2017 - Samsung releases new Galaxy Note8 to the market.
Last month Samsung took the stage at its Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event in New York to officially reveal the Galaxy Note8, one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2017.
Among the many innovations and highly anticipated features Samsung announced – like the 12-megapixel Dual Camera – are a few new and exciting S Pen tricks: you can now take up to 100 pages of notes in the screen off memo mode, which activates when you pull out the S Pen with the display turned off; you can handwrite a message or draw a picture with the S Pen, send it to someone in a message, and it’ll play back animated just as you drew it. Live Messages are saved as GIFs, so they’re easier to share across different apps, devices, and on social media.
Last but not least, the Translate feature has evolved from the its predecessor as it lets you highlight entire sentences with the new S Pen to instantly translate into 71 languages; the S Pen also allows seamless currency conversion as you’re making purchases online, checking hotel rates, and more (powered by OANDA Rates®).
Trusted by leading corporations and international organizations, audit and accounting firms, as well as millions of individuals globally, OANDA will provide Samsung users around the world with accurate and reliable currency data at their fingertips.
